I don't know if I've talked about this here, but it has been on my mind lately. Alot of you are younger and/or newer to Lego and over the past few years have acquired faces with either double sides or ones with pupils. I'm pretty old school I guess and have been collecting Lego since well.....If ya add up HK's and Gecko's ages...longer than they have been alive I have a bunch of the classic faces and "pupil-less" ones. Recently though, I don't seem to want to use the old ones. Usually, it seems that older fans prefer older things (gray vs. bley for example), but I have found myself going nuts over the "newer" faces. Of course there is nostalgia and all that to take into consideration, but I find mixing them....difficult. I love some of the old faces, and am glad to have them. The only problem for me is mixing them. Oh well, just thought I'd put this out there, thanks for reading. Sounds like a good opportunity for a poll.

i'm mixed between some of the better double sided ones, and the classic smileys, but the clones wars head aren't right, except the clone's heads themselves(if that makes any sense), they work pretty well for clones

I voted for the newer style, it seems that they have more character, if that makes sense.

well, I'm kind of mixed too ... being older than you QBlade, I do like the older ones, especially some of the actually faces like with Dragon Masters, Orientals, and such. But, I like the white pupil in the eyes ... just not the mouths that go with them. So, I'm going late older. Some of the newer ones make me think that Lego is trying to compete with cartoons ... and ... yeah.

Well, I was slightly confused by the options.. If you meant pupil by the little white blob inside the eye, then I voted right... But if you meant pupil as in the actual pupil seen here:

like the new CW clone heads, then I was most certainly wrong, because I absoballylutely hate those detestable objects.

I hate double-sided heads and I hate fleshies. Other than that, I will use pretty much everything else. My favorites are the older ones (around 2003 and back, all the way to classic smilies, but especially the ones from the 90s), but I'll use newer ones if they are yellow and not too cartoon-like.

thats why i use the clone wars heads on clones
and i use fleshies because lego made indy and starwars heads are fleshies, and most of the heads i use are starwars and indy heads

I like the older heads the best, simply because ANY head from the new Clone Wars line just plain scares me. Also, I do like some double-sided faces. Mainly that one green-haired Exo-Force guy's face with the scar. I think that one is pretty beastly.
