I said I just wanted the oar and the lantern, the boat can burn for all I care. I was thinking the oar could be used as a weapon for now.

I will post opening the box and stuff tomorrow. Or later today I should say. As for the dock/missing boards, you do, in fact, need a hammer to repair it. You can't just lay the boards down and take them back again. Also, in regards to duplicate items in inventory, any items you have that are not in your hand, on your head, or on your body, must fit on the inventory plate. Duplicate items will be stacked on top of one another if possible, if not, each will take up space. Like I said before, certain events, and some items, will grant you more space.

I don't see why we can't lay down the boards and walk across. It's what I'd do. But it's your choice, so yeah. Anywho.
Will wait for you to post next segment now :D

If the wood's rotten, wouldn't the boards just snap through the dock? Just MHO.

Picture 1

You open the box and pull out a shovel. This could be usefull, you can dig, and hit stuff with it. (Originally I was going to make you guys use the shovel to hit the snake).

Picture 2

You bring the barrel of water back to your house and put out the fire with it.

Picture 3

You attempt to open the chest but are unable to because you keep it locked. You also seem to be unable to find your key. You must have lost it somewhere...

Son of a mother. Check pockets, then if it's not there, check nearby debris.

I say check the debris also or a wall that is still standing, maybe you hung it there?

Attempt to pry it open or break the lock with the shovel. If that fails, check the area (and pockets) for the key. Also, just for clarity, could we get an update on what we have in our inventory?

You look in your pockets and in the surrounding rubble. You remember you normally kept it in a cupbard. Maybe when you house got destroyed it was scattered somewhere into the surrounding forest, or maybe it was taken. You try to pry the chest open but it is very sturdy, and the shovel isn't very sharp. That's probably the reason it wasn't destroyed along with most of your house. You also have in fastened to the floor, otherwise it probably would have been carried off. If you had a hammer you might be able to get it off the floor, but you'll still need the key to get it open. That or a big sharp weapon.

Also, inventory currently has:
1 board
1 shovel
1 empty barrel

And for now I won't post a picture of your inventory every time you pick up something new. If you ask to see it or know it's contents I will let you know/take a picture. I will also let you know if you try to pick up something but do not have room in your inventory for it. While there is room all items will automatically go into it.

So would it be easier for you to make up something or should there be options?
