Background: Child of two typical Drakkan, he witnessed firsthand one of the horrors that even highly developed society has - his younger sibling was lost shortly after birth to a viral disease that had not been seen in almost a hundred years. His parents were devastated, and Vlak worked hard throughout his childhood to work to mend the hole that had been left in their hearts. He came out of the school system as a biomedical engineer, charged with preventing exactly the sort of thing that made him decide to do this in the first place.

2 main landmasses accessible by boat or plane; Llgaard (larger) and Bofrn.
Most of the population lives on Llgaard. Bofrn is generally less developed and consists mainly of uninhabitable regions [mountains desert etc]. Llgaard is conviently located mostly in a temperate region but large areas are also in the tropical area near the equator of the planet. Bofrn sits towards the southern end of the planet and is largely tundra.

Farmland is the main use of land in Llgaard; most of the population resides in small [easily stacked] self contained apartment 'boxes' in the cities. Large use of clean energy, harvested mainly from the oceans and an ingenious avalanche method in Bofrn.

Planet is rich in aluminum, platinum, and has an abundance of sand, from which most of the building materials come from [glass+aluminum]. Less common are precious stones [which are grown in labs] and fossil fuels.

Extensive public rail system, limited use of SUVs in less inhabited areas, planes/boats mainly use biodiesel. Small but interconnected power grids stay up during frequent solar storms.

Food is readily available and includes mostly seasonal fruits/veg [but some greenhouse grown as well] and maybe 25% meat products from domesticated livestock. Milk is not consumed by either race and milk by-products are considered a delicacy.

General characteristics:
Short, humanoid creatures with lizardesque features and limited natural armor/scales. Warm-blooded. Skin color varies from very pale to very dark; some have dyed skin. Heads are more human in appearance but with slight draconic tendencies.
Wiry build, high agility and dexterity, average endurance. High intelligence and wisdom with lower strength and charisma. Gifted is the norm, generally fulfill educated occupations. Great vision with average hearing and slightly less than average sense of smell.
No facial hair, short growth of horns/spikes on rim of skull serves as hair.
As a race, fans of tattoos and piercings, etc. open to most other races, generally omnivorous, society is well developed
Llgaard is shared with another race, the Dromar.

Humanoid, warm-blooded, very pale, human in appearance with exception of eyes - very cat-like. Wiry build, very athletic, thin, high dexterity and endurance. Average intelligence, great strength, all senses above average. Facial hair uncommon, hair varies from very pale to deep auburn.
Happily share with Drakkan; average occupations are the norm. Not a lesser race but generally less gifted.
Features: darkvision/low light, speak Drakkan, 'common', dex and str bonus, agility/climb bonus, medium size.

Wow, this is really cool. I really hope you decide to draw even build a minifig to represent your character. While I was reading it, I started to get the figure in my head:


Either that or a figure with the Darth Maul/Savage Opress headpiece on a figure. Please forgive if I have the wrong idea in my head, it's just what I first thought of.

As for your planet, sounds awesome. I am hoping you make a lillte vig to show your Biomedical engineer in action. A cool drawing would be cool too for your planet.
