Come on. Some more people need to sign up for the community project.

That was stressful. It took me awhile to choose between Andre the Giant "Obey" and They Live.

Thanks for the plug Mac. I think Machetero, Napoleon, and Hikaro are all maybe's. I'm kinda excited about trying my hand at writing again. I haven't really written anything since my short lived attempt in Jan of 2009. Here's hoping I still have it.....and can do it in a sci-fi theme. The good news is that even if we have a low number to begin with, people can still catch up if they join late.

You are correct, I am very much a maybe. I'd like to join but after looking through my parts, minifig bits, and displayed builds and WIPs, I came to realize I have nothing that fits in the sci-fi realm. Unless, of course, you believe in space ninja.

So, I had this life-size white paper pulp mask sitting in my art supplies for a couple months, not knowing what to do with it. So, I took it, drew on it, painted it, and I came out with a disturbing replica of Darth Nihilus' face.

Image

I'm tellin' ya, looking at it on my shelf next to my lava lamp in the dark is plain scary. ;9 Very creepy, and even if they might not be visible on the real character, I added glistening Sith eyes to enhance the scariness. I need to get some other masks and some clay to change the structures of the faces...

Sounds cool Napo, hope you can sleep tonight ;D

Rant about lacking NPC respect in Skyrim incoming:

Look, I walk up to a random guard (and just took down a dragon right in front of him), and he's got nothing to say but an arrogant 'Let me guess, somebody stole your sweet roll?'.
That just makes you me wish I could shout at the idiot:

I'm dressed in official assasin's garb and armed to the teeth.
I'm Thane of half a dozen cities.
I'm the sole reason the civil war is over.
I carry an arsenal of poisons that would make Boethiah jealous.
I just got home from one-hit-KO'ing the beast destined to end this world. Twice.
With my connections, I can:
Have you immediately arrrested by the royal army of Skyrim.
Have all your valuables and clothes stolen and replaced with poisonous, rotten tomatoes.
Have your house blown to smithereens by a gigantic ball of magical fire.
Have your whole family murdered and eaten by a bunch of ferocious werevolves.
Have you tortured for decades in hundreds of cruel ways by a 10 year old vampire.
And when that's over, I can just kill you with frigging arcane words. Words, dude.
Or even better, I can have my best homie the new High King of Skyrim do it for me.
Or how about letting a huge dragon that I can call forth without raising a finger have the honor?

I even imagine he'd reply: 'Eh.. and?'
Rant over ;)

I once did the same, saving several guards from a dragon by slaying it singlehandedly. He told me my iron sword was undependable and I should try steel. I DIDN'T SEE YOUR STEEL SWORDS DOING ANYTHING YA JERK.

Stupid guards.

That is exactly why I slit the throat of anyone who says anything mildly displeasing about me. Especially those two Altmer that run the clothing shop in Solitude. I don't even wait for them to make a snarky remark anymore.
