Thanks! Huh, I didn't know that, although, with the Soviets' wanting to defend Stalingrad to the last man, I'm not suprised they used women and probably children.

Yup, it 'tis true.

There one particular story about womens involvement in the Battle of Stalingrad. So Hitlers so called "unbeatable" 6th Army was under heavy artillery fire from a small fortified position. They spent days trying to overrun it and when they finally killed all the people there it was all women. Wasn't a single man there. Also. Stalin was crazy.

Good story! Real "unbeatable" all right! Oh yeah, I firmly agree with what you said about Stalin; cookoo! He wasn't just crazy, he was like a megalomaniacal pyromaniac who executed people.
