I thought this deserved its own thread.

Many of our members have unusual nicknames, for example: Copperwats, Hawkxs, Oreo, Asterios, and Clonebear. So, where do all these names come from?

Cool idea! Bay is my real life nickname, and lego is of course my hobby.

I have a beagle.

Awhile ago on some oline thing, can't remember what, I took the guise of a sentient AI that was built by, basicly god, and then a bit before I started playing Runescape I was watching Transformers: Beast Wars DVDs from the library and the computer the what-ever-the-autobots-were-called had gaurding their ship was called Sentinel, then someone on RS had already taken sentinal, so I picked sentinal133 of the list that came up after that and here we stand with me now being Ezikiel 'Sentinal' Snow on the internet. 'Course it was only after the fact that I found out it was spelled sentinel.

Mine is rather easy. Sadly, my mom wouldn't let me make a REAL nickname, and made me make one as zachary1998 instead. Zach is my name, and 1998 is my birthday.

My REAL nickname would be ZacMcCheese, since I love cheese, It's a cooler name for my name, and I just like "Mc".

Well, the name I have here was a variant on an old nickname I used for games that I regret now.. We won't go into that
More recently I've been using 'Biohazard' as my username on things, as that sounds better and is part of an old inside joke.

Basically, a while ago there was a time when me, a couple other guys and three girls sat together at a table for school. One day, me and one of the other guys decide that a pen isn't working very well. So we took it apart and cut the ink tube at one end, and tried to write with steadily flowing ink... It got everywhere. So I started calling it the affectionate name of 'Biohazard', and the others followed. I like the sound of 'Biohazard', and I was part of how that got started, and just recently decided to start using it as a username

Oh, that's kinda funny! Not gross like I expected.

I just thought the BF khopeshes were SO cool that I took the name.

And the 97 is my birth year. But surprisingly that 97 was a fluke!
