You've never been on a plane? Just coming from a family like mine, where the older family members (like my dad) actually own and pilot small aircraft, that just seems slightly weird to me.

You should do well Bio, good luck! :)

I get the same feeling when I hear someone has never fired a gun.

I've been on a plane once (technically twice, to and from Dublin). And never fired a real gun, only something I don't know what's really called, a couple of times ;9
And good luck CB, I'm sure it'll go all right!

So where'd the HUD in Skyrim go?
edit: MC, I see you fixed Lokey's tomb, not just a floating door anymore.

Coming from a family that has members all over the US and in Puerto Rico, as well as a family that believes in home defense as well as sport/target shooting (dad didn't hunt, but I was born in NJ outside NYC and I don't know of too many people who hunt there), I understand how both of you feel. Anytime I hear either (and occasionally both!) of those things, my brain just kind of stops for a second. In fact, I think the feeling I get when the plane first starts to take off is the same as after putting the first round through a new, or new to me, gun.

Good luck Bio!

hahaha sweet! Actually, it must be a game fix, it's a glitch in the Creation kit.

So ... how do I take screenshots in Skyrim? I've tried a bunch of things and can't seem to understand it ... using the screenshot button doesn't seem to work either.
I'd like to grab a shot of my Kahjit, but also want to make some teasers for the level I'm working on right now. It's getting to a point where I'm starting to like it, yes!
(I'd also like to nab a pic of my ME3 mp Geth. I named it HK47)

Also, just spent an hour 'mining' the Ismar Frontier, ME2, for my husband's game this morning. Mining the planets puts him to sleep, thus slowing progress. :o)

I've preordered the Lego MBA 3 kits. I'm really looking forward to having something that will force me to work on smaller MOC builds, since I have such a strong tendency to make dioramas.

I remember we talked about WoW a little while back. I'm sorry to say that I need to take back what I said, I won't be able to be playing with you who do play it. I refuse to pay the subscription fees, and I can't ask my bf to keep paying them when we never play together, so I'm just giving up on the whole thing. If you plan on getting Guild Wars 2 though, I should be there.

@Blitz: That's a shame, but I don't blame you. I haven't even been playing it that much anyway even though I've had it installed for a week.

If you get a pop-up from Steam about screenshots after you close the game, then I'm pretty sure you have to hunt down the pictures manually. In my case they're in C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\92103818\760\remote\72850\screenshots, I just used the standard installation. If it's not that, then I probably can't help.

I rather enjoy the editorials in Analog Science Fiction/Science Fact. Most of the ones we have are 25-35 years old, but they seem surprisingly relevant. Probably because a lot of them are about nuclear power, space exploration, or environment. Better than most of the stories in them. Man. I'm very picky about my literature. There's just so much crap. There's more crap in literature than any other form of entertainment. Only like 1 in a thousand books are good, and maybe 1 in 300 is decent. Why is To Kill a Mockingbird so highly praised? I don't understand. It's not because I'm one of those kids who thinks old literature sucks. I read Moby Dick when I was like 12 and enjoyed it, but TKM just didn't seem that well written. Wow... I get sidetracked soooo easily.
