In other news, there were two local LEGO resellers at a flea market today I went to. They both had Brickforge products and I somehow resisted picking up the Bugout pack, Zombie Defence pack, and the Fallout pack, amongst other things. I regretted this decision immediatly. BUT! I may be selling some old sets AND joing the local LUG so that's something.

I don't know that I would've been able to walk away ... I'd really like to have pieces from each of those.
I may be going back this weekend to pick some up...

Soda isn't exactly good for heatstroke/dehydration...
And about the knife, they aren't the same as mine has a handle that looks more like horn or carved wood, not pearl. Pretty sure it's an old plastic though. So definitely not the same, but most likely the same type.

@Napo: Pennies have a negative impact on the economy. They cost more to make than the amount of gold in the U.S. Treasury that they represent. They either need to figure out how to produce them in a cheaper manner, or just stop making them.

That and they're pretty much worthless.

@Pennies: On my school trip to Berlin, I felt excactly that way about Euro Cents, Sentinal. I mean, how can they be bothered to use 1, 2, 5, heck, even 20 Cent coins. It's like they're just there for cluttering your purse and make you feel rich ._.

Like gutting problematic fishing companions, people stealing your fish, e.t.c.

I think 10 and 20 cent coins sound okay. I mean, a tenth or a fifth of a dollar/Euro/what-have-you is a fair amount.

It's really different talking to someone from a different country about something like money.

What can you buy with a penny!?! 8o Bricklink is your friend. In the US alone, there are 4,085 lots that are 1 cent or under. Some parts are used and abused, while others are completely brand new. I'm not big on collecting pennies, but a nickel means I am about 20 cents away from a cool minifig head I've been wanting. MC can attest to this train of thought.

Exactly, QB! Also, I'm gonna take most of my pennies into the bank and exchange them. And guess what? Badda-bing, 70 dollars! :|~

@Mac: That is an excellent idea, it being a fishing knife. That fits it pretty well.

@Mach: I know, but I hate water. Soda it is. :9

The soda itself doesn't dehydrate you. The problem arises because many of the preservatives and other ingredients are diuretics which make you have to pee frequently, which then leads to dehydration.

Why? We're already protecting a lot of idiots, we don't need anymore.

Yup, Yup! I try to put a small amount aside on the months I have extra from paying bills - this becomes my lil pile of pennies that goes for many of my Lego needs whether BF, Bricklink, or from Lego S&H.
Many of the flats and specialty pieces I used in my Pirate Isle were purchased through BLink because the prices are reasonably low - making my pennies go farther ...

@S133: Indeed!

Really wishing the Shock Trooper Armor set came in dark red ...

Most agreed, pennies individualy may not be worth the hassle, but saved up for some time can go surprisingly far.

I was wishing for vambraces in that color, purple, white, and dark blue, as well as that armor in dark blue just last night. Perhaps some of those pennies will be going towards paints...
