Such is the perils and fate of mohawks my friend. Depending on preference, you may be shaving your head once a day, or every other day. After a week...it has lost much of it's former glory. And yet...I miss it so.

I took a dry run to my new job today. It looks like a 58 min drive one way, but that was with extreme rain conditions half of the way and a slight bit of construction. It's actually not that hard to get to, which was my main concern. I knew the drive was going to be long. It's still worth the money :)

I have to go in to work on my day off tonight after working a near 12 hr shift last night.

Sorry to hear about the near hour long drive. My drive to work used to be about that long until I moved so I know how "fun" that can get. Also, sorry to hear you have to go in after such a long night. Never fun.

The long drive isn't going to bother me I don't think. I'll be making like a minimum of $100 every time I go to work, so that more than makes up for it. Last night I went in for 10:30. I was told that most nights, they are out of their by 2. I didn't get done until 4:30 because there were 5 no shows and 4 different machines kept breaking down. A few productive things did happen. The bosses' boss was in last night and I spoke to him about a few things. I told him that I liked my current schedule (Sun, Wed,& Fri) in hopes that it doesn't get changed. I also heard that they are promoting 2 guys and gave recommendations to 2 guys that I think deserve it. I know he still has plans to move me into some type of role because of my experience, but I am hoping it is something on my terms. I really enjoy not having the responsibility I did at my old job. Who knows, that place is so wacky, maybe they will "invent" a new position just for me |D

Wow, like two days and less than a page, guys?

Anyone watching the Olympics? I've watched a ton. Boxing, Basketball, and Soccer are my favorites. Volleyball and Swimming are on my list, too.

@QBlade: well, here's hoping and I know what you mean about 'not' having to be the 'responsible one', it is nice at times.

@Napo: my internet is sooooo horrible right now it's a fluke when it works! No fun there.

Yeah, it's way too slow here.
