Flintlock Pistol was the greatest advance in pirating since the wooden leg. Developed in the 1600s, these pistols revolutionized ship-to-ship combat (and on-land raiding), and later became a primary means of dueling. Their effective range was very short, and they were frequently used as an adjunct to the sword or cutlass. Sea rovers will appreciate the simple, yet familiar styling that allows for multiple grip points and easy handling. Fits most standard minifig hands.
