DESCRIPTION
Khopeshis the Egyptian name of the Canaanite'sickle-sword'. Its origins can be traced back to third millennium Sumeria where it was most likely developed from its implement cousin; used to harvest grain or cutting grass for hay. Much like axes, spears & hammers; ancient sickles were modified by laborers into makeshift weapons for defense & protection. The spine of theKhopeshwas made heaviest so that its center of gravity could better cleave through armor.......and assailants! Fits most standard minifig hands.
